Survey for PAIR Pastoral Program Development

Dear friends and colleagues,

Introduction:

The Professional Alliance of Indian Radiographers (PAIR), a special interest group of the Society of Radiographers (SoR), is committed to supporting international radiographers, particularly those from the Indian continent, working within the UK healthcare system. To improve our pastoral program and better meet your needs, we kindly ask for your feedback through this short survey.

Pastoral Program Development

We recognize that transitioning to a new country and working environment can be challenging. Our pastoral program aims to provide international radiographers with the resources and support they need to thrive in their careers.
PAIR offer a network and resources that could be helpful for someone new to the profession in the UK. Here's how PAIR can be beneficial:
Networking: PAIR provides opportunities to connect with other Indian radiographers in the UK. This can be a great source of advice and support, especially for those new to the country and the healthcare system.
Mentorship: PAIR might connect you with more experienced Indian radiographers who can offer guidance and answer questions you may have as you navigate your new role.
Understanding the System: Being part of a group familiar with the UK healthcare system can help you acclimate and understand any cultural differences in the workplace.


Your Voice Matters

We are inviting you to participate in a brief survey to help us understand your needs and preferences. Your feedback will be instrumental in developing a comprehensive and effective pastoral program.

The Survey

The survey covers topics such as:
  • Areas where you require the most support (e.g., professional development, cultural integration, social networking)
  • Topics of interest for future events and workshops

PAIR is also inviting members to join its mentor list.

  • Are you an experienced Radiographer who is willing to offer guidance and support to new international colleagues?
