Professional Alliance of Indian Radiographers (PAIR) launched as a Special Interest Group of the Society of Radiographers (SoR) in the UK


London, UK – March 2024 – The Indian radiography community in the UK is proud to announce the formation of the Professional Alliance of Indian Radiographers (PAIR). PAIR will serve as a special interest group (SIG) under the umbrella of the Society of Radiographers (SoR), the UK's leading professional body for radiographers.

PAIR's mission is to:

·         Foster a supportive network for Indian-origin radiographers in the UK.

·         Promote the professional development and career advancement of its members.

·         Celebrate and share the unique contributions of Indian radiographers to the UK healthcare system.

·         Advocate for the interests of Indian-origin radiographers within the wider healthcare community.

PAIR welcomes all radiographers of Indian origin working in the UK, regardless of their membership status with the SoR. The organization will offer a range of benefits to its members, including:

·         Networking events and social gatherings

·         Educational workshops and seminars

·         Mentorship opportunities

·         A platform to share best practices and knowledge
